For the next few Blog posts I will be putting 1 to 3 minute videos out of old vacations taken from when I was a child all the way to with my family now. These will be from all over the world. After all “ We Make Your Home Movies Memorable Again” , that is our business. Now with all this being said:
Welcome to our 6th installment of our traveling blogs.
The year is 1996, the month is July. We are driving from Texas thru St Louis to visit relatives in Chicago and Holland, Michigan. On our way back we took a detour to the Indianopolis Motor Speedway. This blog will be in 2 parts. From Texas to Chicago this month and Michigan thru Indy next month.
Some of the highlights are taking the train 40 miles into Chicago from Mary’s cousins house. The 1st time the boys had ever been on a train. We saw the Cubs play at Wrigley Field. The boys were used to going to pro baseball games and always watching a losing effort, so nothing was different this day either ( Can you say Rangers?), and then of course the Sears Tower.
Hope you enjoyed this 6th segment video blog, Part 1,( Part 2 coming next month), As always if you have any questions or need any Video Slide Shows with music background, VHS or Sony8 video, photo, or audio to DVD, CD, or Digital File conversions done, please call , email, or check out our website,
thanks Bill

Our Disneyworld Vacation 1998

Welcome to the 5th installment of our traveling blogs.
This month we are going back to 1998. We are visiting the state of Florida.
We start at Daytona, then on to Disneyworld and Universal Studios, and we finish the week out with the Kennedy Center at Cape Canaveral.
A few items to note about this vacation:
The track at Daytona is astounding. The high banked oval track is so steep that you can barely walk on it.
My middle son was 12 at the time and was embarrassed to go to the land of the mouse. I bought all the Disney hats for everyone to wear,( that’s the Clark Griswold in me I guess). He was afraid one of his friends might see him, 1500 miles from home. I explained to him if they did, they would not say anything because that meant they were there too.
We all a had a fantastic time and everything went as planned. I have to admit that I was amazed that for a whole week not once, with 3 boys, did we have a Clark Griswold moment.
For some reason we did not take any video on this trip, so we took 100’s of pictures. This video is comprised of only a few of those pictures done at a faster rate of speed than normal for this Slide Show Video along with the music background. Let us make a Slide Show Video for you.
Hope you enjoy this 5th segment video and as always if you have any questions or need any video, photo, or audio to DVD or Digital File conversions done, please call , email, or check out our website,
thanks Bill

Shadow the Wonder dog

For this blog I am going to get away from the usual family blogs. I came upon this video a few weeks ago of “Shadow the Wonder Dog”. Shadow was our dog in the late 80’s. I would put him in his chain link fence kennel that was in our wood gated backyard. Almost every day I would get home from work and 1 neighbor or another was bringing him home. I could not figure out how he kept getting out, especially since I was putting a Master lock in the chain link gate latch (the lock was unlocked). Actually, I thought the boys were leaving the gates open but they swore they were not. I decided to put up a video camera and this is what I discovered.
Note: This video was made a few months later because at the time I accidentally recorded over the original. I hope you enjoy this and all the upcoming videos as well, thanks Bill
Please remember if you need any info or have any questions on video or audio conversion to DVD, CD or digital file please contact us by phone or email.

Hawaii 1981, Our Honeymoon

Welcome to the 3rd installment of our traveling blogs. This months blog takes place in Honolulu and Maui, Hawaii, March 1981 which happens to be our honeymoon.
Besides the fact we had a great time doing the normal sightseeing , racing, yes racing the Hana highway,( Mary stayed asleep, I think she was afraid to open her eyes for fear of flying off the cliff), and just hanging out in Lahaina.
Remember the year is 1981 and the scenescape has changed quite a bit. The slide show video attached is about 1 /100th of the photos actually taken.
I hope you enjoy this and all the upcoming videos as well, thanks Bill

This 2nd video is from 1977. It is of the 1977 24 hour motorcycle race in Le Mans, France. The greatest part of this race is that they allowed you to walk the complete course during the race which meant lots of pictures from different angles from all corners of the track. This is only a fraction of the pictures that I took but this video was originally made and still is a sample on our website. Hope you enjoy this and all the upcoming videos as well, thanks Bill

This 1st video is a trip to Alaska , down the 1000 dirt mile highway. What I remember was, 1000 miles of dirt road, no AC, and every time a car came by if you were too slow to roll up the windows you were pretty much dusted. Of course the old saying of “Don’t Feed the Bears”, obviously did not apply to our family. Hope you enjoy this and all the upcoming videos as well, thanks Bill
