Money!! Have you ever stopped to think about the amount of money that we all spent on VHS and Beta decks & cameras 25 or more years ago? Not to mention all the new video cameras, decks, 35mm cameras, lenses, and accessories that we bought every couple of years in order to have the very latest “state of the art” equipment. Oh, and don’t forget the cost of the film, processing, and video tapes. That all amounts to a great deal of $$$ that we all spent and thus made companies like Kodak, Panasonic, Nikon, Canon, and so many more extremely rich.
At the time, we thought we were getting the best quality that would last a lifetime or beyond for our kids and grand-kids. Most of us couldn’t imagine how much and how fast technology would change in the years that followed!
Now fast forward to 2014. Where are all those VHS home movies? Where did we store all those VHS tapes and boxes of pictures?
If you do know where they are and still have equipment to view them, you now realize that regardless of all the time and money that you spent, that many of your pictures or movies have deteriorated over time, turned yellow, lost color, or faded from either sitting next to a sunny window or worse yet stored in the garage or attic with extreme temperature changes.
Let us help you restore pictures and convert them to digital files.
With rapidly changing technology, the time is now to turn those wedding, vacation, or Christmas videos into a DVD or digital files that will be available at your fingertips to view, share, or easily adapt to whatever the future in technology brings.
Why stop there? Turn those photographs, slides, or negatives into digital files. Again, by converting them to digital files you can save them to your computer, external drives, or one of the various cloud services. Your great great grandkids will be able to view and experience their heritage.
Over the next few months I will be blogging and giving tips and showing video clips about converting everything from photos to that old, beat to hell, scratched up Led Zeppelin album. If you have any questions please visit our website, hsv2dvd.com, or email [email protected]
Oh yeah, and please Like and Share this page, and thanks for reading!
